Tekstraton is seeking a high-caliber Business Intelligence Architect to join our enterprise data practice on-site at our Mississauga, ON office. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for defining the overarching architecture for our enterprise reporting, data warehousing, and analytics solutions, bridging the gap between business strategy and cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and implement scalable enterprise business intelligence solutions, data models, and dimensional schemas.
- Establish standards and best practices for BI visualization, self-service reporting, and dashboard development using Power BI.
- Oversee modern cloud data warehouse modeling and pipeline optimization across platforms like Snowflake and Azure Synapse.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications.
- Drive data governance, data security, performance tuning, and quality assurance frameworks across all analytical assets.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise data warehousing, with at least 3 years in an architectural leadership role.
- Demonstrated mastery of dimensional data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema), ETL/ELT design, and advanced SQL scripting.
- Extensive experience architecting enterprise-scale Power BI solutions, DAX, and semantic models.
- Proven background with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, or Synapse.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and willingness to work full-time on-site in Mississauga, ON.
