Tekstraton is seeking a high-caliber Business Intelligence Architect to spearhead our modern data and analytics initiatives in Montreal, QC (Hybrid). In this strategic leadership role, you will architect, govern, and scale enterprise-grade BI and analytics solutions, transforming complex datasets into performant, actionable business intelligence across global business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement robust, scalable BI solutions, dimensional data models, and enterprise analytical warehouses.
- Define architectural blueprints, governance frameworks, and best practices for semantic layers, data cataloging, and self-service BI.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders, data engineering teams, and functional business partners to translate complex business needs into elegant technical architecture.
- Optimize query performance, data refresh latency, and dashboard responsiveness across cloud data warehouses and visualization platforms.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code/design reviews for BI developers and data analysts.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, and analytics, with at least 3 years in a solution or BI architect capacity.
- Demonstrated mastery in dimensional modeling (Kimball/Inmon) and advanced SQL optimization.
- Expertise with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Synapse) and enterprise visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong knowledge of data pipeline orchestration (dbt, Azure Data Factory, or Airflow) and CI/CD for BI assets.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience; professional proficiency in English (French bilingualism considered a strong asset).
