Tekstraton is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our sovereign Canadian Cloud infrastructure division based in Montreal, QC (hybrid). In this role, you will champion platform resilience, automation, and observability across our mission-critical enterprise cloud infrastructure, ensuring strict data residency and high availability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, scale, and manage resilient multi-region Kubernetes clusters and containerized platforms.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to deliver reproducible and audited environments.
- Develop automation tools, operators, and CLI utilities using Go or Python to eliminate operational toil.
- Establish SLIs, SLOs, and proactive alerting frameworks utilizing Prometheus, Grafana, and modern observability suites.
- Participate in a distributed on-call rotation, driving root-cause analysis (RCA) and blameless post-mortems for major production incidents.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of specialized experience in an SRE or DevOps capacity supporting production cloud infrastructure.
- In-depth operational knowledge of Linux internals, distributed systems, and core networking protocols.
- Proven track record automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines using modern CI/CD tooling.
- Familiarity with Canadian data compliance standards (e.g., PIPEDA, SOC 2) is a strong plus.
- Fluency in English; working proficiency or bilingualism in French is an asset for our Montreal office.
