Tektend LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to join our high-performing client team in San Jose, CA on a hybrid schedule. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise platforms and modern web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement resilient, distributed backend services utilizing Java and Spring Boot.
- Build responsive, high-performance web frontends utilizing React and TypeScript.
- Design, deploy, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Partner with product management, UX designers, and QA teams to translate complex business needs into clean, testable code.
- Champion engineering excellence by mentoring junior developers, conducting thorough code reviews, and enforcing CI/CD best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of progressive software engineering experience with strong command of full-stack development.
- Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks (React/TypeScript).
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and distributed data caching systems.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments (AWS).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities paired with effective communication skills in a hybrid work model.
