Tektend LLC is seeking a skilled BI & Analytics Engineer to join our expanding enterprise data team in Atlanta, GA on a hybrid schedule. In this role, you will bridge the gap between modern data warehousing and strategic decision-making by architecting clean dimensional models, developing scalable transformation pipelines, and delivering executive-grade BI reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize performant data transformation models and data marts using dbt and Snowflake.
- Develop intuitive, self-service business intelligence dashboards and operational reports using Tableau.
- Partner directly with cross-functional product, finance, and operations teams to translate complex business metrics into robust analytics schemas.
- Implement data quality tests, CI/CD validation workflows, and comprehensive documentation to ensure data governance and reliability.
- Analyze query performance and optimize warehouse compute resources to maintain high data delivery standards cost-effectively.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of dedicated experience in BI engineering, analytics engineering, or data modeling within a cloud warehouse ecosystem.
- Expertise in advanced SQL, dimensional data modeling (Kimball methodology), and version-controlled transformation frameworks like dbt.
- Proven track record building enterprise visualization solutions in Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to work on-site at our Atlanta, GA office two days per week in a hybrid arrangement.
