Tektend LLC is seeking an experienced Senior TypeScript / Next.js Engineer to join our engineering team based out of Dallas, TX on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering high-performance, scalable web applications that deliver seamless digital experiences to end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust client-facing and server-rendered web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into clean, scalable architecture.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, accessibility, and SEO performance, ensuring strong Core Web Vitals.
- Design and integrate modular REST and GraphQL APIs to support dynamic application capabilities.
- Uphold engineering excellence through thorough code reviews, automated unit and integration testing, and active mentoring of team members.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong modern web development fundamentals.
- Demonstrated proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Next.js (including familiarity with the App Router and Server Components).
- Strong understanding of responsive design systems and styling tools such as Tailwind CSS.
- Experience implementing automated testing using frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent practical industry experience.
- Ability to collaborate on-site at our Dallas, TX office under a hybrid work model.
