About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as the strategic anchor across our dynamic ecosystem spanning insurance, broking, and technology ventures. In this pivotal executive role, you will balance rigorous regulatory compliance, capital efficiency, and bold innovation to steer multi-entity financial strategies and operations.
As Group CFO, you will oversee multi-entity financial consolidation, align corporate strategy with regulatory and investor expectations, and spearhead capital structuring initiatives, including preparation for an eventual public offering. You will partner closely with executive leadership to scale our operations, optimize treasury management, and support technology-driven product monetization across diverse markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead group-wide consolidated financial reporting, risk management, budgeting, and long-range strategic forecasting across all entities.
- Orchestrate capital allocation, corporate treasury operations, cash flow optimization, and overall liquidity planning.
- Direct corporate governance, board presentations, investor relations, and capital formation initiatives.
- Design, build, and scale financial systems, internal controls, and processes in preparation for taking the company public (IPO).
- Supervise financial governance, compliance, and investment portfolio strategies for the non-life insurance business adhering strictly to IRDAI guidelines.
- Partner with technology leadership to develop robust revenue models, monitor R&D investments, commercialize SaaS products, and evaluate ROI.
- Provide strategic oversight for the insurance broking entity, optimizing commission/fee structures, regional financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure thorough compliance with statutory frameworks, multi-entity tax strategies, and regulatory audits across all operational jurisdictions.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CFA qualification is required.
- 16+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including a minimum of 5 years in senior executive finance roles within the BFSI sector.
- Comprehensive expertise in BFSI regulatory environments, with specialized knowledge of IRDAI, SEBI, and RBI frameworks.
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity financial consolidation, holding company structures, and complex capital allocations.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, capital structuring, investor relations, and strategic M&A activities.
- Proficiency with advanced enterprise financial systems, ERP platforms, Tally, and advanced financial modeling tools.
- Exemplary leadership, stakeholder management, executive presentation, and strategic advisory skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from a top-tier institution.
- Direct leadership experience taking a multi-entity organization through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) readiness process.
- Deep familiarity with SaaS financial metrics, software commercialization, and digital insurance ecosystems.
- Strong experience handling cross-border entity operations and multi-state distribution networks.
