Tekstraton is seeking a high-caliber Site Reliability Engineer - Canadian Cloud to join our mission-critical engineering team on-site in Mississauga, ON. In this role, you will oversee the stability, scalability, and security of our Canadian sovereign cloud infrastructure, ensuring our systems maintain high availability while strictly adhering to domestic regulatory and data sovereignty standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Develop and enhance monitoring, alerting, and telemetry pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, and open-source observability frameworks.
- Automate operational tasks, configuration management, and deployment pipelines using Python and modern CI/CD tooling.
- Define, measure, and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets across production services.
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and conduct blameless post-mortem investigations to resolve and mitigate production incidents.
Requirements
- 3+ years of dedicated experience in an SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering capacity operating high-throughput cloud environments.
- Deep practical expertise with Linux operating system internals, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one automation language such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, distributed systems architecture, and security best practices within sovereign cloud domains.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and available to work full-time on-site at our Mississauga, ON office.
