Tektend LLC is seeking a talented DevOps Automation Specialist to join our high-performing, fully distributed team. In this 100% remote US-based role, you will lead the evolution of our cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery ecosystem, driving automation initiatives that empower engineering teams to deploy secure, scalable, and resilient software rapidly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment workflows across multi-environment architectures.
- Author and maintain modular Infrastructure as Code (IaC) configurations using Terraform to automate cloud provisioning.
- Manage, scale, and monitor production-grade containerized workloads running on Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop custom automation scripts and internal tooling in Python and Bash to eliminate repetitive operational toil.
- Embed DevSecOps principles, security scanning, and compliance guardrails into standard development lifecycles.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Demonstrated mastery of AWS core services and enterprise-level infrastructure orchestration.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).
- Strong scripting capability in Python, Go, or Bash for system automation and integrations.
- In-depth understanding of observability, logging, and metrics aggregation using Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
