Tektend LLC is seeking an experienced, hands-on AWS / Azure Cloud Architect to drive enterprise multi-cloud transformation on-site in Charlotte, NC. In this strategic technical leadership role, you will architect, optimize, and govern resilient cloud environments, leading cross-functional teams through enterprise migrations and infrastructure modernization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute high-availability, fault-tolerant multi-cloud enterprise architectures across AWS and Azure environments.
- Author and maintain automated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates utilizing Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM/Bicep.
- Establish cloud security, governance, compliance, and disaster recovery standards across hybrid and multi-cloud footprints.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineering teams to establish continuous integration, deployment pipelines, and containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Lead cloud cost optimization (FinOps) assessments and architectural evaluations to streamline performance and resource utilization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience with at least 4+ years dedicated to enterprise AWS and Azure architecture design.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and configuration management automation.
- Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts including VPC/VNet peering, DirectConnect, ExpressRoute, transit gateways, and hybrid routing.
- Active professional-level certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly preferred.
- Must be willing and able to work full-time on-site at our Charlotte, NC office.
